Dayue Duan
Dr. Dayue Duan, professor of Department of Pharmacology, University of Nevada School of Medicine, U.S.A. He is internationally renowned scientist of cardiaovascular research and Fellow of American Heart Association (FAHA). He is one of the major founders and the first president of Academy of Cardiovascular Research Excellence (ACRE). ACRE led by Dr. Duan became a sister organization of Yangtz River International Congress of Cardiology (YRICC) organized by Department of Cardiology, Daping Hospital, Third Military Medical University in October, 2011.
Dr. Duans¡¯s research interests include Ion channels, functional genomics and proteomics, phenomics, cardiac electrophysiology and pharmacology, cardiac ischemia, cardioprotection, myocardial hypertrophy and heart failure.
Dr. Duan has published over 100 scientific articles in prestigious journals including Nature£¬Circulation, Circulation Research¡¢American Journal of Physiology. He is a member of the editorial board of several scientific publications, including Circulation£¬Circulation Research, Acta Pharmacologica Sinica£¬World Journal of Cardiology. Dr. Duan has administered more than $9 million in grants from NIH and American Heart Association, .
